Peary Cheesy Bread

Prep: 15 minutes        Cook: 12-15 minutes        Makes 24 dough balls



  • 1/4 cup Small Batch Kitchen Brandied Pear Spread

  • 32 oz of pre-made pizza dough (or homemade!)

  • 1 cup Gorgonzola cheese (about 4 oz)

  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz)

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

  • 2 Tablespoons butter (melted)

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F

  2. Chop up walnuts and dried cranberries, both should be about the size of a pea, and combine the two together. Set aside

  3. Add cheeses to a separate bowl and mix until well combined

  4. Add the Small Batch Kitchen Brandied Pear Spread to the the cheese mixture and mix together with your hands, squeezing the mixture into one large cheese ball

  5. Cut small circles out of your pizza dough (about the size of a golf ball)

  6. Take one dough circle and flatten it with your hands, and then add in about 2 teaspoons of the cheese mixture

  7. Enclose the cheese mixture in the dough ball, continuing until all the dough has been used

  8. Press each completed dough ball into the walnut and cranberry mixture, and then place on a baking sheet with the walnuts/cranberries facing up

  9. Melt butter and brush the tops of each dough ball

  10. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes (or until the dough turns golden)

  11. Remove from oven and drizzle with honey, serve warm!
