Ingredients:

Cheese, Bacon, & Porter Sloppy Joes

Prep: 10 minutes        Cook: 13-15 minutes        Serves: 6

  • 1/2 cup Small Batch Kitchen Porter Beer Spread

  • 1 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 cup ketchup

  • 12 slices of bacon, chopped

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef

  • 6 brioche buns

  • Pickle slices for garnish

  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes or until crispy but still bendable

  2. Remove bacon from the pan and drain all but 2 tablespoons of the fat 

  3. Add in the beef to the pan, lower the heat to medium and cook meat until well browned (5-6 minutes)

  4. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and Small Batch Kitchen Porter Beer Spread and mix well

  5. Crumble the cooked bacon and then fold the bacon and cheese into the mixture for about 1 minute

  6. Toast the buns and then place the mixture on top with additional bacon and pickles for garnishing
