Easy Crockpot Apple Pork

Prep: 15 minutes        Cook: up to 4 hours        Serves: 6

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Small Batch Kitchen Apple Pie Spread
  • 2 large apples of your choice (we recommend Granny Smith!)
  • 6 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Peel skin off apples and cut into slices

  2. Place Small Batch Kitchen Apple Pie Spread and maple syrup into a small saucepan on low heat

  3. Add apple slices to saucepan and mix until the spread is a liquid consistency (about 2 minutes)

  4. Season pork chops with salt and pepper as desired and place into crockpot

  5. Pour apple mixture from the saucepan into the crockpot

  6. Cook on low heat until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (1.5 - 4 hours)

  7. Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite veggies!
