Mom's Perfectly Paired Blondies

Prep: 10 minutes     Cook: 40 minutes     Serves: 8-10


  • 1/3 cup Small Batch Kitchen Cardamom Rhubarb Spread*
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips**
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Nutty Novelties peanut butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter until creamy

  3. Add eggs and vanilla and continue to mix

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt

  5. Slowly add flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing each time flour is added

  6. Stir in white chocolate chips

  7. Spread the batter evenly in a greased 9x9 pan and be sure to cover the entire pan (you can use an 8x8 pan, but it will take longer to cook)

  8. Drop the Small Batch Kitchen Cardamom Rhubarb Spread on top of the batter in the pan and spread it around using a knife

  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes

If you want some more yumminess, double the recipe and bake in a 9x13 pan

* Can use any Small Batch Kitchen Spread

** May use no chocolate chips, or more!
